Description. The Marantz model CD-400B is a simple to operate demodulator for obtaining four discrete channels from CD-4 records. The unit incorporates an automatic noise reduction circuit to minimize record noise without affecting frequency response, and an automatic 30Hz carrier level control which selects the optimum carrier level for the cartridge being used.
