Cant find the fuse box on a bmw r1200gs motorcycle - Fixya
SOURCE: cANT FIND FUSEBOX ON BMW R60. it would be a box about 3" by 1 1/2" with glass fuses in it , probably under seat or behind the side panel. find the red wire from battery and follow it. it should take you to the fuse box. you may find that your bike don't even have a box just a main 30a fuse on the red battery wire. Of course for the fuse box to work right and to prevent your accessories from killing the fairly small battery on the 1200GS, you need to hook the fuse box up to a relay. Nov 07, 2014There is no factory fuse box on these bikes. They use BMW's CanBus system that automatically regulates current flow and shuts off over-current circuits. Your best bet is to start by putting a volt meter on the heated seat plug and seeing of you get any voltage out of it.
